Executive Chef at Marrio Hotel Costa Rica | Peruvian Cuisine Ambassador

Chef Miguel Pulache stands as a true ambassador of Peruvian gastronomy, blending tradition with innovation in every dish. A San Pellegrino Young Chef 2017 Regional Finalist and member of the prestigious San Pellegrino Young Chef Academy, Chef Pulache has earned recognition on the global stage. He was honored at Chalana Restaurant - Guía Azul and has represented Peru at PromPerú’s gastronomic festivals worldwide, showcasing the rich flavors of his homeland.

Currently the Executive Chef at Marrio Hotel Costa Rica, he continues to push culinary boundaries while honoring his Peruvian roots.

Chef ANTONI RAMOS

The Alchemist of the Andes

Born amidst the potato fields and under the Andean skies of Quipas (Huánuco), Antoni Ramos discovered his passion for flavors rooted in the land. His culinary journey began humbly, washing legumes, and evolved into leading kitchens in Lima's vibrant gastronomy scene. Antoni’s expertise was honed at the renowned Mayta before he embarked on his own culinary adventure, founding Quipas a groundbreaking flavor laboratory.

For Antoni, cooking is more than a craft—it’s alchemy. Guided by a deep respect for the rhythm of harvests and the bounty of the sea, he transforms ingredients into stories on a plate. It’s a principle that connects him to the boy who once gazed across the green hills of his Andean village, dreaming of sharing his heritage with the world.

Chef ALLAN Rodríguez

Allan Rodríguez is a distinguished Sonorense chef and restaurateur whose culinary journey has left an indelible mark on Boston’s vibrant dining scene. As the owner of La Neta Boston, located on the iconic Newbury Street, Allan has redefined Mexican cuisine in the city, blending tradition with creativity. His dedication to showcasing authentic Sonoran flavors, from handmade tortillas to his signature "Pinche Taco," has made his restaurant a celebrated destination for food lovers.

Allan’s participation in Ceviche Day reflects his commitment to diversity and inclusion in Boston’s culinary landscape. His work embodies the idea that food is a universal language, bringing people together while honoring cultural heritage. By joining this celebration of Peruvian gastronomy, Allan highlights the shared values of tradition, innovation, and community that unite Latin American cuisine. Chef JOSE DUARTE

Chef Jose Duarte is a pioneering force in the culinary world, renowned for blending the vibrant flavors of Peru with the classic techniques of Italian cuisine. As the chef-owner of Boston’s acclaimed Taranta, he transformed a traditional Italian restaurant into a groundbreaking destination for Peruvian-Italian fusion, earning widespread recognition for his creativity and leadership.

A passionate advocate for sustainability, Chef Duarte has set industry standards by integrating composting, water conservation, and recycling into his kitchens. He shares his expertise through teaching and speaking engagements at institutions such as MIT, Harvard, and the New England Aquarium, inspiring others to embrace sustainable hospitality.

Beyond the kitchen, Chef Duarte is deeply committed to social responsibility. He co-produced the documentary Fair Tomatoes to raise awareness about labor rights in the food industry, and he presented at the United Nations on sustainable tourism and community projects in Peru. His work with rural eco-lodges and local communities supports agritourism, culinary education, and ethical sourcing.

Chef Duarte’s culinary journey has been featured on PBS, CNN Español, Chronicle, and Top Chef Estrellas. He co-owns Tambo 22 (Peruvian cuisine) and Trattoria San Pietro (Italian cuisine) in Massachusetts, and is the co-author of Taranta: The Book.
Alongside his wife Anna and their two children, Sofia and Diego, he continues to celebrate and promote the flavors and traditions of Peru.

With over 20 years of experience across Europe, the U.S., and his native Chile, Rodrigo’s career is a celebration of global flavors and authentic connection. He’s not just a chef, but a true community builder, known for his empathy and for creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.  Rodrigo’s journey has taken him from top hotels in Germany and Spain to award-winning restaurants in Santiago, and even to Chicago, where he won first place at the Culinary Festival at the Signature Room. As the owner and chef at Balthazar and the visionary behind Casa Espoz—a vibrant cooking school and event center—he’s made it his mission to share the joy of cooking with people from all walks of life. Casa Espoz isn’t just about food; it’s about bringing people together, breaking down barriers, and celebrating diversity through hands-on culinary experiences that honor tradition.
