Boston's Inaugural Ceviche Day Unites Communities,
Celebrates UNESCO-Honored Peruvian Heritage,
and Supports Local Students
Boston, MA – June 18, 2025
Perú in Boston, with the support of Marca Perú, proudly announces the first-ever Ceviche Day in Boston, taking place Thursday, June 26th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Lounge Terrace at Surf Seafood Restaurant in Woburn, MA.
Ceviche Day is more than a food event, it’s a celebration of unity, culture, and giving back. Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, ceviche is a symbol of Peru’s rich culinary tradition. This inaugural event will bring together Bostonians and the broader community to honor this dish and the heritage it represents.

10% of all proceeds will provide scholarships for minority high school seniors in Boston, helping them pursue higher education and create a brighter future.
About Ceviche:
Is a classic Peruvian dish of fresh raw fish marinated in lime juice, spiced with chili peppers, and served with onions, cilantro, and traditional sides. Its international acclaim and UNESCO recognition highlight its importance to Peruvian identity and world gastronomy.
